So...Two Months Later

I knew I hadn't posted in awhile, but I was a bit surprised tonight to find that it's been two months, almost to the day.  I guess one reason I haven't posted anything is because there really hasn't been much going on to post about.

I have a month left of school.  Testing starts on Thursday for my class and we'll be done in three weeks.  The true test for me starts around that time because my students then think that there's nothing more to "learn" so why pay attention?  We'll probably be starting a kickball tournament in a week or so.  Hopefully, weather will cooperate with us because it didn't last year!

I still haven't heard from the PAEMST people yet.  Yes, I know they said they'd announce in the spring and it is technically spring now, but I have no control over it.  In fact, I was successful in forgetting about it so I wouldn't think about it all of the time until a friend brought it up a few weeks ago.  Now, I have it on my mind at least once or twice a week.

I'm still attending my Associates group.  Last time we were in Park City, we went bowling.  The ladies from my school and I bought matching bright pink shirts to wear, they were a hit.  My last trip with the group is this week.  I will miss our days away from the school and our overnight chats.  We'll have to have at least a mini-reunion next year some time.

My principal is finally posting jobs at the school.  It looks like we'll have two openings, but we're not sure where yet as one of the 5th grade teachers wants to change grade levels which will either be to 4th or 6th.  She's pretty cool, I'd love to be able to teach with her on my team next year.

With the warmer weather comes yard work at the apartments again.  I've gotten pretty good at mowing the lawn and pulling weeds.  I wouldn't mind temperatures like this all summer on the days I need to do some lawn care, all the other days could be a bit warmer.

I can't remember anything really big happening in the last two months.  Maybe I'll have something better to report in the next two months.
