I'm pretty into personalities and personality typing. I find it interesting identifying the way someone thinks or acts, of course, shoving them into a "box" of a personality type isn't all black and white, but I find my types to be somewhat accurate (to a point).
On my way home from work today, I was thinking about all this and how people don't always get to know the real me. I'm really good at putting up walls which intimidates some people and they don't venture too far down the Julie trail. I realized that those walls pretty much come down when I'm teaching my class. I'm quite the performer and really put myself out there. Basically, I go from an INTJ to an ESFP. I was telling my friend, Sara, about this and she pointed out that that is probably why I'm so drained when I get home from work and just need to be by myself for awhile. I am definitely an introvert, but I have to play on my extrovertedness while I'm at school so I need the massive recharge when I get home.
So, yeah, if you want to see me without the walls, come hang out in my classroom.
