Mind Reader

Do you ever wish you could know what someone is thinking?  I do, but not all of the time.  I especially want to know when you glance up and notice someone across the room quickly look away because they had been looking at you.  Or when you and a person have had something change between the two of you whether it was mutual or one-sided.

I don't want to know everyone's thoughts all of the time, that could be scary and I think a person needs to have his or her thoughts to be something that is only theirs but can share if they so choose.  You can't keep people out of everything except your thoughts, those are safe and I like that my thoughts are safe or else I wouldn't give myself the opportunity to just let my mind wander or to ponder some of the things I do.  If someone else could just look into my thoughts, I would feel guarded all of the time and that's not fun.

Yeah... I don't think I'd generally want people reading my mind. But I agree with thinking it would be nice to know what's going through someone's mind when your relationship with them suddenly changes.

If someone wanted to read my mind I'd be ok with it. But only because after about 3 minutes severe confusion would set in. its hard for me to follow all 12 current trains of thought at once, but I've had years of practice.
