Spring Break

My spring break was this last week. It was a pretty good break, but it went by way too fast! I was smart because I know me and I realized that if I didn't create a list of things I should do over the break that I probably would end up not doing anything. I was able to accomplish the following in the last week:

• Cleaned my office
• Went to the temple
• Finished reading Peter and the Sword of Mercy
• Went to the grocery store to pick up some items for Mom and myself
• Went to the other grocery store to buy strawberries that were on sale
  
• Oil change
• Started reading The Kite Runner (don't know if I want to finish it though, anyone out there read it and have any suggestions)
• Started writing sub plans for some days I will be taking off
• Went to FHE
• Cleaned my bathroom
• Went to lunch with my aunts, sister-in-law, and two of my grandpa's cousins
• Went to the library
• Went to Pam’s house and helped paint the basement
• Made a strawberry pie with the purchased strawberries
• Made a PowerPoint presentation for a social studies unit on the Renaissance

If I didn't have my list to check off every day, I probably wouldn't have done half of those things. As it is, I still had a few things on the list I didn't do.

Ready or not, I go back to work tomorrow.
